Your local street food guide, who has a huge passion with Vietnamese street food will pick you up at your accommodation by taxi or Grab car or Saigon Opera House as a meeting point. Then we leave the tourist area behind and start your food adventure to a street food paradise

First stop, we start at Chuoi nep nuong Vo Van Tan, Located in District 3, one of the city’s most unique districts, this vendor occupies a small street corner where a local family has been preparing a mixed Vietnamese-Cambodian dish called “Chuoi Nep Nuong” or “Banana Grilled with Sticky Rice” for over four decades.
Walk into the heart of district 3 and explore the old apartments has the name Nguyen Thien Thuat Apartment Buildings Area which is home to dozens of famous Vietnamese street food that will tempt your stomach. This is where you’ll have original Bun Bo Hue, a unique recipe that takes approximately 8-10 hours to craft a rich broth combined with beef slices, pork sausage, and vibrant onion and spicy coriander garnishes. This food-stop is owned by a local with over 25 years experience from Hue (central Vietnam)
Stroll along a street known for its barbecue seafood vendors and head to a local-favorite restaurant to taste the best “Bò Lá Lốt” (Beef in Wild Betel Leaves)
A street food paradise is here, You will watch ‘Bánh Xèo” and “Bánh Khọt” being made in front of you– Originating from the Mekong Delta in the western part of Vietnam, “Banh Xeo” derives its name from the sizzling sound it makes when cooked on a hot pan.
Then, take a stroll, trying Bo Nuong Sa– BBQ grilled pork wrapped in lemongrass. Next, try the traditional (local owner) Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwich before enjoying a refreshing sugar cane drink.
Next up on your food adventure is visit Khmer market (next by Ho Thi Ky) you will sit like the locals, and get munching, crunching, sipping Vietnamese pizza (student’s favourite). Relax, have a Saigon beer (or jasmine tea) and hear your student guides sharing their local life.
Our last stop is Che Mam Khanh Vy, Vietnamese Sweet Soup. The owner have 45 years of experience selling traditional Che in Saigon. It’s located under old apartment (apart of Chinatown) in district 10
